    Soo today I got a letter saying my credit limit is being increased on my card..

    Its a very high interest one and I pay it off in full each month. Only took it out to try and sort my credit file a bit, so that when the defaults fall off my rating and savings should allow me to get a mortgage.

    Anyway Im not sure if it means anything, but Im hoping that this increase means my rating is starting to improve. All defaults are marked satisfied except the one that I am currently paying down.

    Made me feel like progress is happening, even tho I wont be using the extra credit :)

    I really feel like being under £3000 is going to be a huge mental milestone for me.. Something about being under that makes me feel happy and I dont know why, because it is still a huge amount to owe..

    Need to make some extra money or some more savings to get my debt going down in big chunks again, dont like all these little bits coming off..

These smaller victories are the milestones of the journey so it is understandable that it will feel good every time you pass one. You are doing the right thing and pushing in the right direction.     Doubt I will pay much more off before payday...

    Hopefully going back to work this week and overtime will hopefully still be available..

    My assignment is due is 21 days for uni, plan to start that this weekend. Could be a few tripds to library, going to withdraw £10 and try not to spend anymore than this on coffees etc :)
