Barclaycard football mastercard

I have had a Barclaycard football MasterCard for many years. Basically the promo is that season ticket purchases are at 0% for the life of the balance.
I also use the card for all football travel and tickets.
Never had an issue until last month, always paid the transaction balance in full plus extra to pay off some of the 0% balance and never received a charge until last month.
I phoned Barclaycard and they agreed that as long as I paid the transaction value in full I would not incur interest as the balance is at zero percent, and they refunded me the charge plus a £20 credit for their mistake. This month once again I have received an interest charge.
My monthly transactions were £409.13, zero percent balance £102.49 and I paid £450.
Why would this generate an interest charge when I have cleared the purchases in full like every month for the past 8 years?
I am confused and angry. I am annoyed that Barclays keep saying I transferred a balance which is not true and I do not understand why the season ticket is at zero percent if I am going to receive interest charges.
All help and advice is appreciated.

in general, for 'normal' cards interest is charged from the day of purchase until the debt is paid off.
however, the interest is not actually charged if you pay in full each and every month
obviously, with you 0% special you are NOT paying in full each and every month so I would expect some interest even though you pay sufficient fo cover the spending
however I don't know the details for your specific card.0
