Hi All My late father had loan protect gold insurance on his northern rock personal loan and they still made us pay out the nearly £1400 that was outstanding on his loan. anyone know the contact details for making a claim? googling is just pinging up with dodgy PPI schemes.
Amber Credit for Apex insurance did exactly the same to us. anyone know their contacts?

the underwritters (cardif pinnacle) of the northern rock policy stated "unable to accept claim for life benefit. This is because (my late father) the condition is considered pre-existing to the policy and consequently excluded. He died instantly from an undiagnosed genetic heart condition.
The policy was taken out in June 2005 and he was began seeing the doctor feeling unwell in february 2006, being that he died end of march 2006 when nothing was diagnosed.
do you think it is worth persuing?0 -

I wasn't even aware there was a life insurance element to these policies...0 -
