Can any one please help or advise?
I've lived at my present home for 10+ years and always struggled to understand my electricity readings.
My last statement (this month) advises me that annually I use 8140kWh of elec over 12months equating to approx £1270 - so £105per month.
** this also includes my economy 7 usage **
Does this expensive in comparison to everyone else??
Many thanks...

Welcome.
Are these bills based on estimated or actual readings? No such thing as an average energy bill, too many variables from house size and insulation to number of occupants and their habits.
Having said that £100+ a month year round would be quite high for a modern electric only flat, but bungalows are often less well insulated and occupied by older folks who like it warm.
Have you checked you are on the best tariff for your usage using a price comparison site? Are you using as much as possible of the energy at night, running your washing machine/ dishwasher/ tumble dryer and immersion heater on timers say?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
If the house is heated and hot watered on E7, then your usage is extremely low. The average property with gas CH and DHW uses around 3,400kWh pa.
It would be more meaningful if you posted your split between the two E7 rates. As a guide, you need to be using a minimum of 25-30% on cheap rate to make E7 pay.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
