Sorry if this isn't the right board, I've no idea where is best to ask this!
I've got a new job :j
Just had an email from them asking for me to send them an electronic online photo of myself that they can use for their website. I'm guessing it's a photo like the ones on estate agents websites?
Where/how do I do that? Literally not got a clue lol

Congratulations.
Basically, get someone to faff around with you and a digital camera until you find something you would be happy with being seen for ages (so do hair, makeup, place a white board or sheet of foil on your lap so your face is properly lit - there's advice online about taking good portraits).
Then upload it to something like photobucket (set up a separate account so your personal photos aren't available to everyone) and send them the link.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Ah, so I can just do a good photo at home? Right, that's good news!
Will get a google around at how to take a good photo, the foil idea is really good, thank you

No problem - it's like sticking a picture in here -either side of the link.
And if they wanted just a digital photo, rather than an online one, send it as an attachment on an email - you could clarify which they meant.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

jojo is right - I would just say find a digital photo you are happy with or have one taken and put it on pc. then just send it as an email attachment.
by a portrait photo they mean just a face shot - not full length or waist up!0
