Npower shocking service help please

Can anyone please give me a number that somebody will actually be able to help me on.
Four times today of 19 minutes each on hold, then to be disconnected. Final time call answered and told they can not take my call.
Lots of laughter going on in the background.
Wait time has been 1 hour on the recorded message, I can not believe they have this many customers ringing to have a queue time of 1 hour.
I asked for a team leader none available, a complaints telephone number, they don't have one!
They could arrange a call back for me that would be between 3 and 5 days !
What time was best for this - after 5pm as I am at work as I had explained numerous times. The reply - could they not give me a freephone number to call from work.
I wanted to laugh out loud, of course my employer will allow me to sit on hold for 19 minutes x 4 whilst they are paying me to talk to their customers.

why not email them?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

The only fail safe resolution with this company is to switch to someone else, they are awful.
The only other thing I can suggest is to make a complaint via their website (log on to your account). Screen print your complaint before submitting it as they don't email you a copy.0 -
Hi, I had the same problem tonight - I asked for the complaints number which is 0800 316 9328. I got straight through .... but be quick they shut at 8pm0

Unfortunately Npower isn't & has a long standing reputation for abysmal service. Therefore you are probably beyond help unless you can do as shjo558 suggests & transfer elsewhere0

Emails take at least 7 weeks to be replied to so dont bother with that.0

Just logged in to my online account with npower to give a meter reading as my contract shortly comes to an end, and it says that npower will not take any more customer readings until 27 April.

I made the mistake of transferring dual fuel to nPower last December and my electricity was transferred within about 2 weeks, but my gas is still in the process of being transferred!
I've sent about 12 emails through various channels, some get replies, some don't, phone calls take forever to be answered and they usually laugh and say 'these things can take 6 weeks sometimes'. And I say 'it's been several months!' to which they just reply - wait a bit longer.
Anyway I thought I would just transfer and take the £60 (approx) hit for early exit, but when I checked uswitch it seems like everywhere else will be much more expensive for me. For this reason I'm tempted to put up with their atrocious service.Be kind to all moneysavers0 -

I've experienced the above for the last 2 days, abysmal, appalling way to treat customers, and still I'm unable to make contact with anyone!!
Email them, yeh, been down that road, 2 emails to them in February and not a reply to either email!0 -
Npower has the worse customer services in the UK.
For four months I have been trying to open my Gas account with them. My complaint has been with Executive Complaints Team for 2 months, "Executive" is only the name, they are soooo useless. I keep chasing them for an update and hear back once in 10 days!
As soon as my contract is up, I am switching to another provider. Npower shows £20-30 cheaper on the comparison websites, believe me, it is not worth your time and nerves.0
