Hope someone can advise,
I got rid of my sky package last year and decided to use my sky digital box to watch the freeview channels, I have only recently plugged it in, but I cannot seem to get channels 3,4,5 or itv2 is there any reason for this even though I get the others, it states when I go to these channels please contact sky to increase your subscription?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Either your smartcard aint plugged in or you have an old issue card.
What does your card look like? should be blue with a yellow house on it.0 -
You have to leave them in the box for a while if they haven't been used recently and they will be authorised for free to View channels.
(if the card is the latest version)
If you need a new card, https://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk cost £20I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0 -
yes my card is the blue one with the yellow house on it, I used to get the channels a long time ago when I used it but not now, I have moved the sky dish could this be the reason even though I get all the other channels.
Thanks for you help so far0 -
Could be faulty card. Do you know anyone with a card, could try it in your box.0

Hi
I agree with Benl leave the Card in over night and it should pick up the channels by the morning, if not contact freesat £20.00 quid they should last for 3 yrs and as far as I know they have to replace it for free with a new one :beer:0
