OP mentions setting up a new company - don't know about you but to me that suggests limited company - a no 2 or personal account will not do for this purpose.

'Company' may or may not mean a limited company. It could just mean a sole trader. OP needs to clarify.

After 3 declines, this may not be helpful - but I have my business banking with HSBC, I'm reasonably happy with them after many years. Could be worth yet another attempt?

Sounds like you might be at your limit for credit checks for now though - but perhaps if you go into a branch you can explain this to someone and see if they can advise? Then again, telling them you've already been rejected thrice might not help.

By the way, have all of your applications been in person to a branch? Or online? Or both? Maybe try the opposite of whatever hasn't been working so far? I.e. if so far you've been declined with online applications, then try the other way and go into a branch?
