£2.02 cashback just for submitting a quote

I noticed today whilst looking for car insurance that TopCashback are offering £2.02 cashback for submitting a new quote with confused.com.

I am glad i did this as i ended up saving £150 on my renewal as well as getting some cashback for my effort to fill in a simple form.

So basically you are selling your details for £2.02.... given how much insurers normally will pay for hot lead details they got an absolute bargain!
  • Haha!! wow they really are very sneaky in how they get people's personal details. Very clever I am sure there are plenty of people who are getting caught out with this. Although Paul mentions he saved £150 on his renewal, I wouldn't mind a company having my details if it saved me that much and I got some cash back. So in Paul's case this is a win win situation. I keep that in mind when I am renewing my insurance, thanks Paul.
