Can I upgrade a PS3 12GB?

Hey Guys,

I recently bought a 12GB PS3, I now realise that this was a bad idea as I'm pretty much out of storage space already! :eek: I was hoping to be able to upgrade the hard drive (or whatever it is you have to do to get more gigs!), but I've been told that this isn't possible as the system doesn't have an expansion slot.

I then looked at memory sticks/cards/etc, but I've heard that you can only transfer data onto them, and can't use them for downloading.

Now I'm stuck!

I'm wanting to get a Playstation Plus subscription, so will need something capable of storing the downloads, plus any game saves and updates - Please help!

The reason the one in that demonstration page wobbles about is because he didn't buy a mounting bracket for it.

You have been able to upgrade the HDD inside all PS3s and it really is super easy, do not worry.
