Yes, you will have been getting NI credits.
It will depend on how your disability affects you.
You do not in general get ESA for having a specific condition - but how it affects you.0 -
hi rogerblack
just asking about ni credits because I think I got sda instead of ib
because I did not have enough nat ins(that long ago cant remember) so I will definitely be getting some now by the sounds of it.
also what I was meaning about sda to esa is sda (not means tested) but esa is and so because I have over 6000 will I lose it
once again many thanks0 -
SDA is conts based so capital doesn't effect it.
There are two types of ESA conts based and income based.
When your time comes to go accross to ESA if you are successful you will get ESA conts.
Depending on what group they put you in, Support or Wrag.
If Support you will be ok and your 6k will not effect your new ESA claim.
If Wrag for the first year you will be ok, then you would have to then go onto Income Based ESA, then your 6k would effect.0 -
