    Depends on the route and the time you are looking to fly. LHR-LAX seems to have very limited Avios availability in general, and even more so in August.

    I booked 4 upper class reward flights with virgin going To new york out start of school hols in July and coming back 2 weeks later. At the time there was good availability to new York but nothing for 4 to la or Miami. LA never seems to have good availability with virgin.
    June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

    July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550

    October challenge £100 a day. £385/£3100
