I'll probably be in the pervs room.0 -
Just had to share this bizarre dream with you that I had last night (not involving Lenny you will be pleased to know!)
I am not going to the Blackpool meet but had this dream during the night that a lady I know, who is the wife of one of the most well off squillionnaires I have ever met, who has all the trappings of monied life - kids at private school, property portfolio, woman visiting the house to wax her legs, and bubbly every day, came round to my hovel with a map of Blackpool and asked if I could give her directions to the DFW meet :rotfl:
Obviously in my own little dream world she has spent the last 10 years secretly spending and hasn't told her OH husband.....
(I think I am spending too much time on these boards)

That is excellent hypno...........
Tigz, I might fly up from Southampton if the pennies stretch on the Friday and stay until the Monday (no Sat/Sun flights) or get the train if it works out tons cheaper when the tickets become available. the train journey is vvvveerrrrrrrrryyyyyyy long and I have a back injury so sometimes comfort outweighs cost.
I called a likely looking hotel on the prom and was told that they would still be charging single room supplement in September as they can easily sell the rooms to couples over a weekend.
Might be worth taking into consideration."Stay Wonky":D

Sea had a great idea on IA's diary about going to the zoo in Blackpool over the weekend:If we did organise something like that for the friday/sunday whenever, I sure those with kiddies would be interested. Of course, there's also the tower too and the beach (freeeeeeee). I'll have a nosey round and see what deals/vouchers there are too. i'm sure the others in blackpool area will be doing the same anyway.
Sea xxx
and yep, it's def something I'd be up for taking the boys to, whaddya think, IA? There's absoultely loads for kids to do in Blackpool, but sadly it's not all cost effective.:(DFW #414, MoneySaver, Income Booster

I agree - so much to do but so much cost a lot of the time!! Stanley Park is also fabulous, but it all adds up, although I think it's a brilliant playground and if a nice day, picnic opportunities, and of course, picnic for the zoo too. Blackpool has a fab poundland too :rotfl:
