No invitation required Andy - it's open to everyone, come along!!

I don't speak much Italian, but my French is pretty good, so I think I can work out your bilingual swearing...lol :D

Hi Andy - here's the newest thread

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=528452

come along! We are meeting on the 15th at some point, somewhere.

I think we'll all be a bit daunted, but so far I don't think we've had a sniff of any mad axe murderers who are confirmed and it's not all couples so come and have a laught with us!

Rain - add your name to the list - you can be one of the tour guides for the day!

A money saving trip to Blackpool, how have I missed this, I’m on this site every other day, I’m not that far away, just to the right of Manchester, It would be great to meet other money savers, most people just think I’m tight when I rant on with myself, I have managed to convert my brother though. I don’t know anybody personally but I’m sure I’ve read your posts in the past.

What sort of numbers have you got, is it the more the merrier J
    why do we do it,

spending money we dont have on things we dont need

  • I'm in Fleetwood on Saturday 15th (this Sat) to watch my team play in the FA Cup. It's only a couple of miles away from Blackpool so I could 'pop in' on my way home!

Do you have a venue or anything? The match is from 3pm to 5pm so I'll be able to get to Blackpool for 5:30-ish. Just in time for Dinner :) I'm sure my mum won't mind looking after the kids for a bit longer (Mrs. Dither away in Barcelona on holiday that weekend).

where the meet times etc are being decided on.

At the moment, it looks like an early afternoon meet and a wander along the prom and then see what happens , followed by drinks somewhere until we get kicked out!

Sadly, we now can't have our drunken rowing boat competition due to the dastardly tourism officials but it should be fun ;)
