i am in a need to pay a service provider in USD. they do have a USD bank account in UK. they also accept credit card payments
I have cash of course in GBP

Just use any UK card to pay in USD. The bank will do the conversion for you and will charge you for this. With a correct card you can avoid being charged for the conversion: Cheap Travel Credit Cards0
