For the urgent attention of the Scottish Power Representative !

As there are less than 2 weeks to the end of this month and no Warm Home Discounts appear to have been paid yet can the Scottish Power rep advise on the concerns expressed by members on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3853715 and answer the following please .

Q1, How can people check if their application has been approved ?

Q2, When do Scottish Power intend to start payments considering we are at 18/03/2012 and payments should all be paid by the end of the month .

Q3, If full confirmation of eligibility has not been received by SP from the DWP ( as appears to have happened in some cases ) . What plans do SP have to get that information from applicants and what time scale will they allow so that claimants do not lose out ?

Sorry Shammyjack I was out of the office last week.

During the WHD application process there was a confirmation screen with an application reference that confirmed application was received.

We have already been making payments but we had to wait until the verification process was complete for the broader group applicants.

If you have not heard from us yet it is likely that you were not part of the verification process and so you will get the payment on your account by the end of March. I will e-mail you to check details and I will have a look at your account for you.

I can confirm that the discount has been applied to your account and you will be able to see this on your next bill.
