Using my address

I dont know what to do.
I have lived at my single occupancy address for over 25 years.
A couple of days ago I received an e top up card from T Mobile correctly addressed and with my surname, but whilst the christian name starts with the correct letter it is the wrong christian name. It quotes a mobile number which is alien to me.
I have never had a contract with T Mobile. I rang them and they said it must be an error and to return it.
What would you do?
It seems obvious to me that somebody has taken out a PAYG phone but does not wish the provider to know their identity. Somehow they have found my address and name but guessed the wrong christian name?
I dont ant to just return it as I am concerned by this.

Just send it back not known at this address.
If I was in your shoes I would search bt residential or 192.com for any folk in the vicinity with your surname and try to figure out if it is a typo.
If you start getting any more correspondence then you might need to dig a bit deeper.0 -

Thanks for that Hintza, but somebody is partially using my identity and I don't think that I can ignore that?0 -

I don't think Hintza has said to ignore it, but on the basis of one item there is a limit to what you can realistically achieve. It doesn't sound like T-mobile are too bothered, and the police won't be interested, so where else do you think you can turn at this stage?0 -

Keep an eye on your credit report for any unauthorised accounts or searches. If nothing crops up, don't worry too much. A PAYG won't leave any mark on your credit file or anything.0
