Named Driver Crash - Confused - Quite Urgent

Ladies & Gents,
I am after some urgent advice.
I was using my partners car in December, I am a named driver, and somebody crashed into me, long story cut short, they decided to try and claim against US and this is an on going case. In my name on her insurance.
MY insurance is up for renewal.
Do I need to claim I have this on going case?
If he wins (he shouldn’t) do I have a claim and lose my NCB?
Does my partner have a claim and lose her NCB?
Any formal advice would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks.

You need to inform your insurance company that you have been involved in an accident whilst driving another vehicle as a named driver on someone else's insurance policy. You won't lose your NCB on your policy, but your premium may still go up if your insurance company deems you are now a greater risk."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

You have to declare it on your policy and any other on which you are named.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

Ok Excellent, thanks for that.

Its such a pain. We were parked, at the side of the road, this guy came, forign, in a smashed up car, hit the front of use at low speed with no lights on. He was alone, not hurt, our car was not damaged, however he then went on to tell the insurers (and prove somehow) that him and all 4 passengers including the baby all had to goto hospital, despire me being parked i was driving and I hit him... so his witness confirmed.... and his car was immaculate... or so a random photo shows. He even had his insuance details written down in his top pocket ready. The crash was in.... his mates car... that he was insured on... he couldnt speak much english at the scene but now to the solicitors speaks fine,... and we have since seen him in a brand new Audi A4. He even waited 28 days to claim.... exactly the amount of days the CCTV took to expire! Its clear fraud which we are trying to fight but this guy seems to be a pro.0
