Being prepared for a Cyprus

Given that Cyprus is going to take money from peoples' bank accounts for pay their debt, and there are rumours that this is going to cause a run on the banks in Cyprus and maybe other banks in Europe, what are the alternatives to putting savings in a bank apart from putting money in a safe?
