transfer money to EU (netherland) bank account

i have to make a payment to some once bank account in Netherland.

whats the best way? i tried the calculation on internet banking and my back says it will cost me £2666 to send 3000 euros inclusing £10 charge.

    I see now that the lines are not sorted by the amount and the top line is not the best option. In fact today you can get €3112 for £2666 with Transferwise.

    and they looks good, they are charging £12 for the transfer (0.5%) and if some one already haven an account with them and send me a invite link then this would be free transfer

    any one have an account with them?

    Check CurrencyFair.com, you can do a lot better than that.

    The trick is, how to transfer to the account in Netherlands? I think with any of these services you may face a transfer fee. With CurrencyFair, in theory, they can transfer to a local bank and give you a low cost transfer - but I haven't really checked out how this can work with Netherlands. The wording for EUR is:
    Euro standard transfers are made via the SEPA system within Europe. Priority payments are made by wire, but generally do not attract a receiving bank fee if sent to accounts within the Eurozone.

    So, it sounds like it's definitely worth giving it a go. The standard CurrencyFair transfer fee for EUR is 3 EUR; or express/priority transfer for 8 EUR, if you're in a rush.

    thanks transferwise have the better rate, they said no transfer fee if i have signup from the refferal link if some one already got an account (up to EUR 3000)
