Have a look at Endsleigh Insurance. They were the cheapest for my son who's studying at Plymouth. He is registered at home in Sheffield and they also register his student address at Plymouth. Any issues then give them a ring they're very helpful.0

Uni students get June to end of September off, 3 weeks christmas, likewise at easter, reading weeks here and there, study/exam leave which in my experience equates to around half of the year, probably more if you go home the odd weekend too (proabably not so relevant in this case).
The whole issue is moot anyway. I know several couples who in the first throws of their relationship split their time between each others houses. Again, how are insurers to know where you spend most of your time. People's lives don't fit into tick boxes.0 -
We are in Surrey and DD has he car at uni in Bournemouth. She was told that she had to have her student address as the registered address but we will change it back to Surrey when she moves back in May (ues May :eek:) for the summer.0
