  • 1.30 and still in my pjs....

I'm sure someone is turning off the WM & DW once I've turned them on as I keep going back into the kitchen an hour or so later to see if they've finished only to find them not even started

Anyway I have had a productive morning clearing downstairs of 'things that shouldn't be there at all' - binned - and 'things that should be somewhere else' -moved.

I've also booked a table for next Monday for my Mum's birthday (she's an April fool, bless her) and given practical advice to my friend in need. Time for some lunch now I think.

LW I hope you will still post while Mary is visiting xx
Kazw Keep up the great work, you will get your way, and rightly so :T Maybe the fairies that are turning off my DW & WM are cleaning your kitchen as well :rotfl:

    Evening folks xx

    Paid stuff done

    Strike Day 5
It seems the 'none workers' require a chat with the one who is on strike!! :D:T (seems I am getting there)
The kitchen floors has swept itself today all on its own :rotfl::T

But the striker has decided she is unavailable for a chat tonight, as she is doing her hair..................:D

I also got but we haven't eaten properly for 4 days now.....shame really, they don't seem to be starving....but I am not moving, till they agree to do what they agreed to last week, and failed to do............:D:D

Strike is likely to last till at least next Tuesday or Wednesday........:rotfl::rotfl:

Bossy love the photos well done..................

Me time now, hair now, back later xx
Just one small question..... How in the sam hell do they think they'd manage if, Goddess forbid, you were taken ill and had to be rushed to hospital and stay in for a month?? Personally, I think you're doing them a good turn with your strike. They won't see it that way just now, I'm sure, but even so.....
Hi all, well the 'trying' went t*ts up and he's left after being told to make an appointment for his stuff... I will be flying more than ever now as have a lot to clean out :( Grrr just so bloomin angry about it all yet have to stay calm as poor kids are not sure what's going on :o Doing my best to make sure DS1knows it is in no way his fault what happened but it's never clear cut is it!

So does anyone know about wii consoles? I was thinking of one of those wii fit thingys. But there seem to be loads of different options, and crazily the bundles seem to be £150 more than buying separate.
I think the original Wii is being replaced by the "Wii U" as they're calling it; I know nothing of the new console, we bought our Wii over three years ago, really just for the Wii Fit Plus game.
I had a quick look on the Nintendo site, I don't know if this page will be any help to you:
    http://www.nintendo.com/wii/faq/
I do remember when we bought ours, we had to do extensive research to get the best deal we could; the Wii Fit Plus game was in very high demand at the time, and a lot of places were sold out; as I recall, we bought the Wii console from Am@zon and the Wii Fit game with the balance board from John L3wis in the end.

Mrs Gibbs thinking of you and your family x
    Bossy lovely decorating well done.
    Valli congratulations to Miss Valli

OH has sorted out one L/A file and henried the ground floor. Whilst I fell asleep watching Star Wars with DS2. The snow is now deeper than Miss Muddy Paws' legs but thankfully has stopped for the moment.

Think I may fit in a HHc before starting a roast dinner for this evening. Join me if you wish.

If I can kick Mr LW off the PlayStation2 (he's playing "Conflict: Desert Storm") so that I can have use of the TV for half an hour, I'm going to try for HHWiiFitPlus.:D

    Afternoon all

Been to the Ideal Home Show - rubbish, still nice to spend some time with DS2. DS3 has a neighbour friend in and they are back out in the snow.

Going to have a quick hoover and mop of the kitchen floor in a bit and make something with apples. I have a mass of ironing to get done for the week too.

We stayed with the friends who hosted the feast last night and Dog's bed was placed over a huge, heavily disguised plastic sheet, and the area at the foot of the bed was covered with a fleece. She managed to lie with her bum end just over the edge and the result was a mini-puddle under the wardrobe! How she got her tail end there is a complete mystery. Much blotting and sneaking the soggy towel and paper towel out of the house. I am an obviously horrible person, officially.
    Better is good enough.

I saw the pic and commented - I didn't even notice your name (until I went back in :o)

LOL I wondered who that was! And luckily Mrs Sparrowhawk seems to arrive when the bird feeders are unoccupied by anything cute and snack-like. She's been back again today, clearly she's decided it's her territory.
