Help with refund for assessor course

I bought a course on-line, I was attracted to it as it allowed me to complete from home without too much interference with my job.
I have a problem with the course because it is not as described for the following reason:
The course would not enable me to complete a job in my chosen field, health and social care because the learners that they gave me were completing a course in customer services. I have spoken to the local college and employers and they have told me that I need experience in assessing candidates against the national occupational standards in my specialist field. This would not be the case with the course I was completing as the candidates were completing a different specialism. In other words the qualification would be completely useless as it would not be accepted by employers, this is contrary to the claims that they make on their website: nvqassessortrainingdotcom I also complained to the company about the length of time it was taking to complete the course and gave them a deadline, which they failed to meet (Jan 2013).
I am particularly annoyed as I checked the company out with the board who validates their qualifications the NCFE and they told me that the company carries out a lot of work for them. I have complained to both the company and the NCFE about the standard of the service I received.
The company have told me that I am not eligible for a refund as their refunds policy states that refunds are only available for seven days after purchase. This policy was not provided to me at the time of sale, but can be viewed on their website, they did not provide me with any documentation with regards to the contract of sale after my purchase was completed.
Though I paid with a credit card section 75 refunds are out as I used paypal.
Can anyone help?

Civil action, you would need to prove to a judge that the course could not deliver on it's promises. You need to be sure that you are right. If the course does exactly what it says it will do then you will lose. The case would be defended on these grounds.
You could try a S75 claim but again it will be defended on the same grounds, so again you would need to prove your case.0 -
Thanks Bris. That is most useful as I have taken civil action before. I will need to collect more evidence.0
