Boston Logan Int'l - storage advice

Hi guys
I'm travelling to the States in April and will be flying back to the UK from LAX, changing in BOS.
I arrive at BOS early in the morning and fly out late at night. I'd like to take a quick trip into town for a few hours but don't want to take my suitcase. I've checked the airport website and the left baggage storage areas are no longer available due to security reasons.
Has anyone had any experience of travelling through BOS and can offer any options as to somewhere to store baggage?
Thanks

I did similar at Philadelphia and had no problem checking my bag at 0800 for a 1830 flight. I would check with the airline and see if that is possible .0

I go through BOS several times a year and cannot remember seeing any left luggage facilities.
Whether you can check the bags in early depends on who you are flying with. You won't be able to check a bag in unless that airline has a desk open. I usually fly BA - they have 3 flights a day from BOS to LHR and I have dropped my bag off while the desks where open for an earlier flight.
Failing that you could head into the city and find a hotel with a friendly bell boy then offer them a handsome tip for looking after your bags for the day. They are usually only supposed to do this for guests, but they may bend the rules if the money is right.0 -
Ask if you can check it in. I checked a bag in at LAX 9 hours early once.0
