Claiming on company car insurance

It should all be defined in the policy. From when I was in the scheme it was designed to be 'stress free' in so far as you called them up and they did the rest.
If your car needed to be taken away to be fixed, a replacement from Hertz arrived for the time required and yours was picked up and returned repaired.
How bad is the damage as shortly before mine went back it acquired a nice crease down the back door courtesy of some idiot in the station car park. It wasn't picked up on the handover appraisal and I never heard anything about it again.
Lease companies should work to the BVLA guidelines so an idea of what is 'wear and tear' should be based on this:

However, it all depends how much the person who does the off lease appraisal bothers to look at the car and how filthy it is when it is returned.0 -
Strictly speaking wouldn't you have to do this anyway?Car is currently being leased from Arval, I can't see any excess on the company insurance policy to be fair. I suppose this means that I could get Arval to repair the damage but you're right, when and if I leave the scheme I will have a report against me saying that I had 1 claim of £x in the past so many years which I will have to declare to future insurers.
Question is will the cost of me getting Arval to perform the repairs outstrip extra cost of my insurance in the future if I leave the company, any suggestions?0
