Please does anyone know what rate this now pays. We have just received our interest so have had 12 months. I looked at their website but its as clear as mud to me.. its definitely been worth having for 12 months but need to decide if its worth leaving our money there.
Thanks
Thanks

Thank you .50% had better get it moved quickly! (I found pages and pages of rates yesterday but not this)
Feel like I`m meeting myself coming backwards..savings, ISA`s, current accounts all need sorting! its hard work.0 -
Keep a simple spreadsheet. I use Excel. I enter the date of expiry of any deal as soon as I apply for it, including savings. I run a this month's and next, copying dates from the about to expire one to a new one for the following month, changing to the month by edit/replace. If it's a credit card for stoozing that I have to activate, I ask for its date of opening when I activate it and keep a note of that and its expiry. This also reminds me to pay the minimum payment every month by the due date. If you're not into Excel write it on a bit of paper, remembering where you've kept it! My memory's getting worse year on year.0

Thanks for the suggestion, I do have Excel spreadsheets for things (done for me by my daughter) doing this seems a great idea as its so easy to lose track of dates etc.0

i have started to put details of accounts opened in my ecalendar, then I have it on a monthly reminder what the rate is, when it will finish, when to move it, when rate drop, when I opened it etc, I have a mind like a seive and this really helps. I have backed it up with details on excel and on Word and kept in a folder with a shortcut on desk top
Hope this helps0 -

Santander are usually good at letting you know when your interest rate reduces. I received a letter from them a few weeks before my esaver4 was due to be reduced. My esaver5 does not mature until May thank goodness."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Thank you for all your suggestions.
We havn`t received any post from Santander in ages!
Just about to open their 2yr fixed ISA 2.8% as want to guarantee getting the rate, if we wait whilst a transfer to 123 account happens they could have pulled the 3%.
Then I`ll start looking at finding a home for the money in the .05% accounts.0 -

Unless you've got to find a home for more than £20k, why not just transfer it into your shiny new 123 account @ 3%?0 -
Can anyone show me how to work out my interest for this month from Santander. Working on the fact I receive my interest on the 19th of the month (today) and February was 28 days only. How much interest net should be paid for each £1,000. I know the net interest rate per month is 2.52% (3.15%-0.63%) but don't how they work out their calculations. I expected more interest. I have sent them a secure message but was hoping some of the more saffy posters who are better at maths than me can show me how they work out monthly interest. Thank you in advance."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
