How to add photos from Photobucket to an item listing on Ebay

I'm just about to list an item on Ebay and want to add 6 more 'free' photos.

The following is from MSE but I just can't get my head round how to do this. I've already uploaded my photos to Photobucket but don't know what to do next. Can anyone give me an idiot's step by step guide please?

Just sign up for a free account with a photo-hosting website, which allows you to upload and store snaps online. The best for eBay is Photobucket. Simply sign up, upload a photo, and click 'HTML link'. It automatically copies some HMTL code for you.

When creating a listing on eBay, click 'use your own HTML'. To add a photo on your eBay listing, paste Photobucket's HTML code where you would like the picture to appear.

Yes you open the image that you want to insert and on the right hand side of the screen there is a drop down box saying image links you click on that and then the third drop down box is HTML you click this and it flashes 'copied' you then go to your ebay listing and at the top of the description there are 2 tabs one standard one HTML click on the HTML your description will then look like gobbeldy gook at the bottom of this paste your HTML link from photobucket. Then make sure you delete the first part so that the link starts <img src= if you do not delete the first line the buyer will be able to view all of you photobucket photos. Then when you click the standard tab your photo should show up. Do this for each photo.

Agreed, The HTML link code it gives you is rubbish because it's clickable and will take you to the Photobucket site.
You just want the picture to display ...

So what you're looking for is something a bit like this

<img src="http: //ixxxx.photobucket.com/albums/xxx/your account/your pic.jpg" />

(I've had to put spaces in because the post editor here tries to be too clever.)

Hi this is the thread that showed me how to stop the public viewing all of my photos. Thanks to SteveE2

When I copy my photobucket photo's onto forums, I click on the IMG code, it flashes up 'copied', and paste that into the forum. It copies only that photo, not the whole caboodle.

The problem will be that after this weekend listings will have to include the new postal rates and it may well be worth looking to list cheaper but heavier items today so they can be sent under current postage rates.

Have you already listed? Just go in and edit when you get your breath back, if not quickly list it this evening and edit it in the morning maybe?
