We had a free set of 6 led garden lights with a purchase of mixed seeds - the lights fail to work !!
I was wondering how we stand in law ?
Are the free lights part of the purchase contract ?

are you sure they aren't working ? if they are solar powered then there isn't enough sun light at this time of year to power them all nite, have you removed the plastic film normally on the solar collector ?, have you removed the tag covering the end of the batteries ? are they in direct sun light ? of course if they aren't solar powered then ignore all the above
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

Solar powered lights also sometimes have a switch inside the light. The last lot we got had a removable solar panel on the top. You take the solar panel off and the switch was on the bottom of it.

BRILLIANT - It was a tag on each solar LED light that needed pulling out to make the circuit !!
