I have ccjs on 2 credit cards that I am paying at £50 per month each. I owe about 6k and 11k. CCJs are from 2008 I am just wondering is it too late to claim back my charges now it has already gone through the courts. I was and still am in financial hardship. Appreciate the help as always p0lly x

If you have been charged unfair credit card charges, you can still reclaim them despite the fact you haven't paid the credit card in the first place. Any recovery will probably be out towards the amount you owe.
Note however you can only reclaim charges from the last 6 years, (or 5 years in Scotland) and you wouldn't have been charged any since the CCJs in 2008 so time is running out fast.

One is left wondering why you have left matters so long.
Financial hardship has nothing to do with reclaiming unfair credit card charges, but your financial situation would have been taken into account by the court when agreeing your repayment plan.
Am I right in assuming you had a total £17k of debt covered by the CCJs and are paying back at just £50 per month? That will take over 28 years!
Makes you think when the possibility to bankrupt you needs only £750 of debt ...0 -
