Praise for Sky Bangalore

Hi all,

I had an issue with my Sky b/band this evening. I phoned up Sky to get it sorted. Passed to a lady in India that couldn't resolve my problem. Politely requested to be passed to her manager, which she did without any issues.

He (the manager) was brilliant and his English was superb !!! He fixed the problem quickly and knew his stuff !! Really impressed (and it takes a lot for me to give plaudits) and I offered to give him positive feedback. He advised me that he would send me a URL for feedback. Really hope that he does.

I advised him to look for opportunities (i.e. more money) elsewhere which he took very well and I hope that he does ! Far too good for a company like Sky !!;)

Brilliant. YOU get good service then advise him to leave the company so that none of US can benefit from his expertise.

    ;)

Never heard anyone say "You are wasted here" to a shop worker? It's a throwaway comment.

Sounds like they did what they should do. Are you sure you are not just pleased because they weren't crap?

If you had not had a problem in the first place you wouldn't be pleased now! Somethings wrong

As you have no idea what Sky pay in India or how it compares with other companies out there -it sounds very strange and somewhat condescending.

If you DO want to do him a favour then fill out the email questionnaire Sky sent you about the call. They are all read and followed up on- and good ones lead to better bonuses.

Like the other poster I'm a bit unsure why you think speaking good English and knowing how to fix BB is a special quality. All the people I work with can do it -we just don't do it from India.

Because if you did you'd know where Sky stand in the "ratings" amongst Indian call centre workers in relation to pay and prospects/advancement
