Belling oven - lettering has come off

Hi

I have a Belling range cooker and the lettering has come off and I have bought transfers to replace it. But wondered what I should use to prevent this happening again, I read somewhere that I should put the stickers on and then brush over them with clear nail polish. Will this be ok when I wipe over the transfers?

Sounds like a good idea to me. The nail varnish will provide a nice hard shell, just be careful you don't use anything with acetone in it when you clean it (not likely I don't think).

The same has happened to my Belling Range oven (oh used a cleaner I'd told him not to). Can I ask where you got replacements from?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I got the lettering from eBay.

  • Hi! I have used ovenlettering.co.uk Mark sent me bespoke lettering for my oven, they don't rub off and look fantastic. Try this as they won't need covering with nail polish, very professional ! Julie
