HP Termination Question

Hi,

If i wish to send of a letter to terminate the vehicle, then does the vehicle need to be taxed?

THe reason i am asking is because I'm hoping to VT the car at the end of this month however the car tax runs out at the end of the month as well, so I dont want to buy a car tax just for them to collect the vehicle.

I'm going to VT it first thing Monday morning (via record delivery), then that gives them 2 weeks to collect before the tax runs out

Or return the disc for a refund of every full month after it has gone back?

Because they might ask for it to be delivered at a local pickup point? I don't want them to charge me to get it on the back of a truck

Don't assume they will collect it. It may be down to you to get it to where they say and get yourself back without a car.
