Card Protection Plan

Hello
Are the Card Protection plans, such as CPP really worth having.
Even though it only cost £12.00 per annum, you are already protected by your card company for liability after the first £10-30 if your cards are stolen or lost.
So what's the difference, it seems a waste of money!
Am I right?
Regards
William

No- it's a condition of some cards that you have the protection. You only have to buy once (pa, or usually, every 3 years) and can then politely say to all others that you already have it. I only list cards I take out with me (ie for purchase) with CPP as I would hate them to cancel all those 'kept in a drawer' if I only lost the active one.0
