Solar path lights
Hi, not really gardening but I want some solar lights for the garden. Approx 10 maybe 15. I have looked and can find ones approx £1.30/£2 each or ones £10/£12 each there doesn't seem to be any in between. I want ones that will last a reasonable time and the cheap ones from reading the feedback seem "cheap" Does anyone have any ideas of some decent ones (individual not on a wire):j
Thank you for any suggestions

I thoroughly recommend any of the Cole & Bright range (Gardman).
The really good thing about them (unlike a lot we've been offered for selling at our Garden Centre) is that the batteries are easily accessible and changeable with AA rechargeable batteries. (most you have to throw away when the battery no longer charges). Mine have come on reliably all through the winter with hardly any sunshine to charge them up.
The ones with wires can actually be the better ones to go for because you can put the solar panel (which is usually much larger and captures more light) in the sunniest place and the lights can go anywhere without worrying about how much sunlight they are getting. (For instance I've got some like this under a hedge) I know the wire needs hiding as its unsightly but this isn't difficult to do. The wires are quite long on them.
You can get some really good deals on Cole & Bright lights at the moment. For instance we've got packs of eight bubble lights for £12.99 RRP £24.99
these ones: http://www.coleandbright.co.uk/product_details.aspx?type=&page_num=11&ID=12028 These are wired but they have 10m from the solar panel to the first light, then 1m of wire between each light so can be spread out 18m (59ft).
there is a find a stockist search on the Cole & Bright Website I've linked to above.0 -
