Ideally well suited for interior use? Does this even exist?
I've found a few satin black/ebony which might do at a push but would prefer a matt black if anyone knows of one?
Thanks!

blackboard paint !
designed for turning wood surfaces matt black

Ha - yes blackboard paint was the only other option I found by googling.
Its to go in a trench for a tubular radiator - which is also matt black, which has a teak grille over which is pretty and gloss!
I suspect once the grille is on the finish wont be that visible so satin will probably be ok - possibly this but from my local indy which is £7 cheaper per pot!
It very much still in planning stage so no photos except of the floorboards!0
