Landscape to portrait

Hi, can anyone give me some pointers on this. I have shot a short video in portrait and uploaded it onto my computer. It's uploaded sideways in landscape and needs to be rotated. Easy with pictures, but how do you do that with a video. I can't find a button anywhere. I want to put it on yootoob, can I rotate it from there or does it have to be done first on my computer? I am using Microsoft Picture Manager, and Windows Media Player.

Use VLC media player (Freeware)

Not the easiest thing to use but this should help

Thank you. I've had a look but I don't know what a VLC player is. I can't find one.

this is the link to vlc media player, its worth just having as a media player as it plays most stuff thrown at it.

Thank you. I don't really want another media player, also scared of uploading more programmes into my computer. I took the easy option and shot the video again, this time in landscape.
