Mira 723 Shower

Anyone have any experience of fixing Mira 723 Showers?
I have two, one of which now only supplies hot water. The mixer element doesnt do anything and feels wrong and I guess something has snapped internally.

What parts should I be looking at replacing for this type of problem?

Hi
You should find that all it needs is stripping down and cleaning up. If you order the overhaul kit most of it consists of 'o' rings, but might be useful.
Silicon grease when you re assemble.
It's a bit of a jigsaw when it's all stripped down.! put all the bits in order as you take them out.
Good luck.

Let me know how you get on.
Just checked my shower and it is the same make and model and I have exactly the same problem.
I have taken it apart and put back together a couple of times.
All I can get is all hot or all cold but nothing in between.
I was just about to change it - but if anyone has a possible solution I am very interested.0 -
So far I have installed the washers from Service pack B and soaked all the metal parts in limescale remover which has vastly improved the flow control. Whilst doing that I noticed that most of the gearing teeth on the temperature dial have broken so I have ordered a replacement. The doubt I have is that the teeth were broken by excessive force because of another problem so I am not certain this will fix the issue.
I have also ordered the service pack for my other shower because of the difference it made. I will compare the parts from both showers to see if there are any other issues and I will have to decide whether to pay the £30 to replace the thermostatic coil or £110 to replace the Cartridge Assembly.
Does anyone know which cicumstances to use a high or low pressure cartridge assembley?0
