I had a benefit medical back in November and was migrated from IB onto contributions based ESA; Support Group with a review in the medium term.
Today, I received yet another medical questionnaire from ATOS; I just cant believe this is happening all over again!!
My medical problems remain the same so why am I being sent another questionnaire for?
I really am fuming; I have mental health issues, heart problems, an under active thyroid, none of which will improve.
What do I do; ask my MIND advocate to fone them up or do I send it in again anyway?
I have enuff stress going on at the moment and don't need this!!
I really cant have this every 3 months;feels stress already!!

It is the DWP that decides how often the forms are to be sent, not ATOS. If your situation is the same, you may complete the form exactly as you did last time.0

I kept copy of form from last time round; I really cant understand why DWP keep doing this; they know my situation remains them same!!
So what happens if they then say I cant stay in Support Group!!??0 -
Rather than stress out about it all - just copy what you wrote word for word from other one onto new one and return it to them.0

Hi i am a newbie and was trawling the site for this advice, my condition won't change only get worse so if every review i keep copying the old esa50 then surely it is a waste of taxpayers money to keep reviewing what essentially won't change ? also to play devils advocate then what if they change the group even if the details are the same?
also with regard to the changeover from dla to pip then anyone on wrag with dla will be seen as suspect for receipt of pip when it comes about? i know its different criteria but very similar and people attending wfi's and possibly doing voluntary work will i am sure be viewed in a different light [less ill than specified]0 -
I basically copied what I said on the last ESA50 questionaiire, and this time I put my repeat prescription in so they can see I'm still taking the same medication.
I foned DWP up and they said as my medical problems remain unchanged and I only had a medical 3 months ago, they should still keep me in support group and review me for longer periods.
I think its a waste of government money having to keep reveiwing benefit claimants, especially when their medical problems remain unchanged!!0 -
The rules as another poster has said are the rules. It's the DWP, not ATOS who set the retest timeframe. As for it being a waste of tax payers money, its not a waste if the get 5-10% of the numbers down every cycle?
Too many people receive either or both ESA & DLA, get better, yet forget to tell the DWP. Not saying you do it, but around 1,500,000 do!0
