Sale at B&Q, Home Base or Wickes?

Options
I'm due to have my house redecorated just after Easter and am choosing paint at the moment (Dulux). Does anyone know if any of the DIY stores have sales coming up soon please?

Thanks

Inevitably - have you checked their websites?

Things may well have changed but the last time I checked, Dulux produced Wickes own label paints, regardless I rate Wickes own brand.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Is on offer at 3 for 2 at the moment. Plus a further 20% off paint and all other decorating stuff today and tomorrow.

Same applies for their own range of paint.
I may not have thanked you but I meant to, honest!

Yeah it's good stuff, I buy lots of the trade stuff, but didn't know who made it. I was pointing out to the op that I didn't think they'd see the dulux range. It's only recently they've stocked anything other than own brand.

Wickes do now sell some Dulux. I cannot confirm it for sure, but if what has happened in the past happens again at easter, there will be some sort of offer on some or all of the paint range. Whether the Dulux ranges are included in this or not, I have no idea, as we have only just started selling them.

Not my department really, but there was general surprise amongst the staff that we were selling Dulux. Have used the own brand paint and was very pleasantly surpised with the quality of it. Some own brand products (lighting for instance) are cheap, but cheap for a reason. The paint, however, as others have said, is excellent. Hence the general suprise when it was announced we would be doing some Dulux products. Having used both over the years, I would say there is very little difference, qualitywise, and the own brand is cosiderably cheaper.

It's a foible of mine, I always ask who makes the own label stuff in the sheds, eg, we bought a traditional thermo shower from Wickes, good few years back, made by Caradon, one of the most respected suppliers back then.

I suspect they are all the same, wickes/B&Q you name them, they will all be buying in from one of the big suppliers, they aren't going to make their own paint/showers etc

Thanks - I did see the 3 for 2 but not the 20% off (but I only need 2 really).
