Ipsos survey problems

Hi, I have recently joined Ipsos, having had good survey experiences with YouGov & Valued Opinions.
However, I keep getting halfway through the survey, or further, and then the survey stops working, I just can't get onto the next page, or the survey page doesn't load properly. From what I've gleaned, I think this may be because their quota is now full. If so, this is a mean strategy - some of these surveys I've been completing have been really long, the last time I was about 1/2 hour into it, when it stopped! So it's not that I'm screening out at an early stage.
If anyone has similar experience, or has managed to get a decent reply out of Ipsos, I'd be keen to know. In the meantime, I don't think I'll be bothering with them any more. Not worth my time or effort.

I've contacted them today.
A 60 minute 650 point survey and what happens... Get to what is likely to be 99% of the progress bar and it says:
Due to the programming features of this survey, once you exit the link you may return to continue only after 10 minutes.
It doesn't let me back in after 10 minutes, or 20 or even an hour! What a joke!
This is not the first time that this has happened recently and I refuse to believe that I could get to 99% of the survey and just happen to accidentally have clicked the link and re-opened it without even noticing...!
I feel like I'm being ripped off, particularly for almost £5.00 (based on the rewards I usually go for!) and I am going to see what they say! Annoying thing is this survey closes Monday! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Exactly same to me, i also accidently clicked off a survey, was for 30 points only but also doesnt let me come back to it after a an hour or even the next day!! Havent bothered emailing yet but being ripped off not recieving points for other surveys i did.0 -
Same problem here, at least 4 recent surveys have this 10min message, the worse being the british media & life survey, where you have about 8 different categories to answer, I spent over 3hrs trying to complete this, got to the final last few questions and had the 10min message come up, that was not funny!! Have e'mailed them continuously about this, and have not had the points, they have done nothing about this. They used to be good as welll, but am reluctant about answering any surveys from them, until this is fixed, if they ever fix it.0

I'm glad it's not only me who's been having these problems - although obviously I'm NOT glad any of us have! I was being palmed off by Ipsos with lists of problems that could exist on my compter... at least now I know it's not me.katykicker wrote: »Due to the programming features of this survey, once you exit the link you may return to continue only after 10 minutes.
I've read somewhere else on the net that this message comes up when they've filled their quota. What a terrible system that the quota doesn't register an entry when you start a survey, rather than being 90% of the way through.
Yes, I was caught by that 650 point survey too! Though commiserations to Foxy16 for the 3 hour survey, that is beyond apology.0 -

This is also happening quite a bit to me too and I have contacted their CS a few times now about it as it's getting frustrating now.
Sadly, from experience their customer service is useless and I often get back a generic cut 'n' paste reply (sometimes up to 2 weeks later!) which never addresses the problem.
On one of the email replies they have admitted "some difficulties":
Dear Respondent,
We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced while completing our surveys. We would like to inform you that during the last period of time, we have been working on new programming methods, in order to facilitate the access to our surveys. However there still may appear some difficulties. We have, of course, forwarded your comments to the teams in charge. We hope to remedy these issues as soon as possible. Please try to access the survey at a later time. If it still doesn’t work, we will keep in contact for future surveys.
I'm not holding my breath for either a fix or a goodwill points credit for the various aborted surveys.0 -
If they don't credit me for that survey I just won't bother any more with them, simple for me really.
I've had about £6 worth of surveys before this one that haven't worked for me (have just checked my little spreadsheet I track things on) so I'm not really missing anything by leaving, just will spend that time doing surveys elsewhere.
Sucks that they don't seem to do anything as some companies (like pureprofile) are so good! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
same issues again
Due to the programming features of this survey, once you exit the link you may return to continue only after 10 minutes.annoyed as it was also the 650 points survey! not impressed.0 -
I actually got another e-mail today about the 650 points survey, I clicked it, they said basically that I hadn't been accepted and gave me 25 points...! what a p!sst@ke!
Not impressed at all, glad I'm currently 50 points from cashout as after that goodbye Ipsos! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Finally had a reply about the british media & life survey, stating that a number of people had had the same problem, I had in fact COMPLETED 9 of the topics, and only had 2 questions to finish the final 10th one. Points given for this would have been 450, as a gesture they have given me 150pts, as katykicker says, what a p!sst@ke.0

Have any of you downloaded the ipsos toolbar that notifies you of surveys? I havent, but find it annoying that more survey sites seem to be using this toolbar to notify people instead of e-mail, as I think it becomes more difficult to get in before the survey is closed due to "overwhelming number of responses".0
