Hiya the monitor turns to black just as I get to the log on stage - I have been using it for a couple of hours no problem. Typing on a touch pad so apologies for bad spelling. I have turned everything off and restarted. It goes thru start up screen working normally then just goes black even though monitor screen is switched on and lit up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

well, after turning it off completely about 5 times, it seems to be ok again. I wonder what it was?
Tis a terrible feeling of doom when you realise your connection with the world is compromised!

Bummer it is doing it again .
I am once again on my touchpad as the desktop just goes to a black screen as if it is in sleep mode. Vey annoying. Has anyone got a clue why
