what is the boiler doing while the light is flashing ? are any of the other two lights doing anything ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Thanks for replying.
My Dad has been around (ex-Corgi) and found that if he pulls the rubber hose off of the fan and blow into it (toward pressure switch) the problem goes away. He suspects the pressure switch might be at fault. Although he can't be 100% sure
Other lights are doing nothing. He can fool the system into thinking the flame has failed, thereby testing the other lamps
Thanks for replying0 -
You planning on reporting him then?

it was your question & i have given you the answer, if the light stops flashing when you blow into the aps then it isn't the aps thats faulty is it, so what else could it be ?
I wonder !!I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Ok thank you. I'm don't want to get into an argument over this, but I wanted to know if anyone else had seen the same or similar problem, not only what they thought was the cause. (which is helpful and what I needed) but since the first post I was able to get some more info. As there is very little on the internet about this problem I genuinely wanted to see if there was a solution other than that which I'd come across and secondly the hope is this generates a google trail for anyone else that has this 'undocumented' error.
But genuinely thank you again.0 -
wow, so rather than know the solution, you just wanted people to say "yes i have" how strange, but at least if we have a goggle trail now they may know the answer rather than finding 20 people saying yes we have.
nowt stranger than folkI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
