Hi
I'm confused and wondered if anyone can help?
I have a joint flex account with £2200 paid in each month. I have upgraded the free travel insurance to worldwide including my daughter. It runs out mid holiday in Sept 13. We all have pre existing health conditions. From memory it was about £50 to upgrade.
I was wondering if I am better off with organising my own travel insurance and write off the £50 and take on flex direct or am I better getting flex plus and try to upgrade to their insurance but it says no pre existing conditions.
Or am I better off staying with flex account?
I've tried to work out whether the interest will mean I'm better off organising my own insurance but I am having a blonde/ senior moment and can't seem to work it out.
Any help/advice would be welcomed
Many thanks

If you want either the Flexdirect or Flexplus, why not keep the Flexaccount open as is anyway? You can have both (or all three I assume).
You'll just need to make sure £750 is cycled through the Flexaccount from an external source each month (not the new Nationwide account).0 -
Phone up the Flexplus Travel Insurance number and check if they will cover you all (and any extra to pay) before opening the account.
If they won't or if it'll cost extra then you have some additional information to help you compare what's best for you; but like guesswho200 states, opening a new account rather than upgrading could be the better option, its what I'm planning on doing (more so for the Flexdiect, since I only want that for the 5%, so after 12 months I won't want it; so I plan to run it as a savings account than close it).0
