This is not about individual countries or their puppet politicians.

An organised crime syndicate has hijacked the economies of the world and are now holding its people ransom with threats of destruction if we don't pay for the bills they have run up on our behalf.

We are all cypriots now and it is our right and indeed duty to stand up to these financial terrorists and take our economy back.

If it takes pain and blood to achieve this then so be it.

I'm up for it and am prepared to fight for my children's future.

You can blame who you want

Did either the sellers or the buyers face any punishment?

Have any of them had their accounts raided to get back the bonuses they earned off the back of these deals?
Just wondering who the Cypriot people blame. They seem to be laying their woes on the Germans, whereas it was their own home grown bankers that got them into the mess.

The Archbishop has publicly stated he will be suing everyone who can be seen to be blamed. Whoever they may be

It starts by recognising that all of us working people are on the same side, regardless of nationality or income levels.
It is us who are the economy and in order for it to function properly we need to remove our debt-based system and elect leaders that serve us instead of the banks.

To achieve that means educating yourself and other people, taking part in demos, civil disobedience, local and national activism etc.

Ultimately it could mean smashing a few windows and heads.

Whatever it takes to rid ourselves of these megalomaniac posers using us as pawns in their games.

Is there a realistic chance you'll actually do any of that?

Why not stick to moaning about it on the internet?

Moaning on the internet is a great way of spreading the message.

Seems politicians also had connections with the 2 main banks. So there's far more to this story one suspects.

They have said as much as the people who sold RBS and the other UK banks toxic mortgage packages from the US

The end losers were savers in Japan, China and Germany as it is they who held the paper.

Most banks reinsured there risk through AIG. Or took a contrarian stance in their own trading books to make a profit, i.e. Deutsche Bank.

RBS are yet to be fined for mis-selling of mortgage products in the USA.

I just feel sorry for anyone in Cyprus who had chosen to 'sell to rent' - imagine losing 40% of your property fund overnight, at least if you had a property, even if it had fallen in value you would still have somewhere to live.
    I think....
