I imagine a printer capable of printing directly onto a CD or DVD would be very expensive but if a cheap but good one exists I'd love to know about it.
Alternatively I have an Epson Stylus CX3600 and I'm wondering if theres a way of printing attachable labels which can be pressed onto a CD
I would be grateful for any advice

Epson R200 prints directly onto CD and is a great wee printer.
Shouldnt cost you that much.0 -
The Epson stylus photo R200 is cheap and does this job great.
I picked mine up about a year ago and it was only £75 then so i imagine it will be a lot cheaper today.
Infact ive just checked ebay and you will easily pick a new one up for about £55 inc postage0 -
Ive got the R300 which is great. Slot the dvd or cd into the attachment and its all automatic. I don't know if its still available as it must be 4-5 years old now.0

Thanks for the advice
I dont buy things like that on ebay. I prefer to buy new and have a warranty.
Unfortunately all stores I've looked at so far seem to have discontinued it. Si I must fine one more up to dateIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -
The R220 replaced the R200, it's pretty much the same and is still pretty cheap, I think I got mine for about £65 from PC World (with a little bit of price matching, wasn't that much difference). It's a great printer, it uses 6 ink cartridges but the tanks are all replaceable separately.
The CD printing app that you have to use is a little clunky but it works fine and the print results are very good.0 -
Wouldn't it be cheaper to get CD labels and use something like Nero to print them?
Then you could stick them on.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
My R300 gave up the ghost after a few years so I've just got the new Epson Photo R265. It also prints direct onto printable CDs just as the R300 did.
Currently £57.18 with Ebuyer.com and of course you can also save an extra tenner with google checkout at the moment.
