Scrolling problem

I was on facebook earlier scrolling down the page and it suddenly stopped halfway, i could scroll back up but not down. I kept trying and it was intermittent, sometimes scrolling sometimes not, thought it was a facebook glitch but i have since tried other sites and the same problem, i can hardly scroll at all now
I have tried 2 other mouses, one brand new and its the same so i know its not the mouse.
I restarted the pc, run malwarebytes and microsoft security essentials and nothing found.
I can scroll by using the scroll bar at side of page but not by mouse wheel.
How can i get my scroll back please?

As you seem to have covered all bases, replaced the mouse, checked other sites etc...

Maybe you plugging and unplugging mice into the ps/2 socket has made it become dry jointed?

Only way to check is to take the mobo out.

Is there a trackpad on you computer? Some web pages have been known to go into endless scroll after a certain gesture caused by an accidental touch.

So try disabling the touchpad via Control Panel.
