Of course, if going out, or meeting up for a party, I have always arrived for the time of the start of the party and - generally - waited for others to arrive. I never really got that, if you said 8pm, people actually start arriving from about 10 past, or 8.15. (To some extent, this has been a slight more serious thing for me - no problem myself with quartz clocks - not actually maddening for me, just an, oh it's the wrong time - but the times I have stressed myself more than needed at the short time I have to get ready, in order to push myself out and get to the party at the time they said it was.)

well my son marches in to whoever the appointment is with ( and sadly due to his condition, he attends Alot of appointments) and tells them that they are late and that they should see him at the said time :o:o:o he also then presses them to provide his leaving time and clock watches the whole way through. But of course if it's an analogue clock.....he doesn't trust it! :rotfl::rotfl:

I can't resist. I am a meddler sometimes, and curiosity does sometimes kill the cat! I am now desperate to see it reach 9,999 (itself an interesting number for me to get to exact 10,000) and find out - will be a little disappointed if, having got this far, the thread gets shut down before we reach it!

To be fair, why dont we just stick to this one until RF closes it?

Must admit I'm flapping around between this one and the new and back again.

I want this thread to get to 10,000 and explode!!! But I'm also going to go now mainly to the new thread and continue the MSE and glitching on there. I'll pop back to this one occasionally, just to keep the numbers going up... Please keep posting on here throughout and get it to that number!! (Whilst not encouraging any naughty behaviour that interferes seriously with the running of this site of course...) Let me work on the lists and glitches on the new one!:)
