    Evening all

Just got easter eggs out. Some were in stash cupboard but thorntons delivery was behind armchair. Had checked it when it arrived and everything was fine but just got them out and one badly broken. Was scratching head as couldn't work out how it could get broken in box when I am only one who lives in house.
Then realised step dad sat in that chair last weekend and must have moved it back slightly breaking egg.

Really cba to rush out to t's on off chance.

Now where did I put those balloons?

Evening all. Happy Saturday and Easter hols to everyone.

Looking forward to the voice in a little while.

Took DD shopping today, and it was a wearisome experience, now I'm tired and grumpy but looking forward to going to my parents tomorrow for a big old Easter roast dinner.

Never had the pleasure of taking my wife & 3 kids to my parents for any kind of lunch etc so enjoy it.

Mine aren't dead or anything just divorced & don't do invites.

Not just me in case you're wondering.

We are 5 kids and nobody has ever got an invite to a celebration (Easter, Xmas etc) lunch at the parent's.

I invite my dad to Sunday lunch from time to time.

Bit sad at what I have missed out on as in the previous generation we were always going around to my (now dead) grandparents.

Know the feelings elliemoo. Took ds for trainers and school shoes this morning - how they can explain their prices.

Wish my parents were alive - would love to be going for lunch :)

    Enjoy your lunch tomorrow :)

Lol bubbs I always seem to manage to save it for the hols, been teaching 7 years and never had a day off accept when my mum was ill. If this was a teaching week coming I don't think I would be able to manage, throat is killing and can't stop coughing - getting on my own nerves.:D

How is the snow/rain, are you on alert or stood down, lol ;) I imagine you like a meerkat peeping over the window sill at the slightest pitter patter of rain drops.:D
