Oooohhh well done HD if u got free boots. What time did u go in store?

It wasn't until well after lunch, somewhere around 1.30 ish. Just posted a TQ on their FB page, doesn't seem like as many people as I thought there would be going in to try the phrase

Naebbirac what a beautiful garden you have, it's so colourful. Bet it's teaming with bumble bees and butterflies in the summer. Well done on all the planting :)

I think (in my experience) that if you put too much ink in it leaks until stabilised. Have you left them somewhere secure with an ink trap for 24 hours?

I didn't think I put a lot of ink in to be honest. I will sit it down on tissue then try again tomorow. Thanks.

Naebbirac the beach is gorgeous and just the right number of tourists on it :) Reminds me a little bit of when we went to Cuba.

Well I've been trying to figure out the new Royal Mail prices for parcels with no success apart from giving myself a headache and a nose bleed :D
so parcels need to fit into a specified cube now, under 8cm deep for small parcels but above this between 9 and 46 cm and its a medium parcel and the price shoots up. How much it goes up I can't figure out as Royal Mail have not updated their postal price system yet.

So ideally my eBay parcels need to be small and flat which they aren't and anything worth more than £20 has to go signed for.

I've had a look at myhermes and this looks OK but I can't see how to get this onto my eBay re listings, how to specify the courier costs. really I want to use Royal Mail for parcels to Europe and Myhermes for UK parcels.
for the number of things I sell its hardly worth the effort of figuring this all out.
:( I know how you are feeling & I'm dreading going into work Tuesday

    here is the price guide
    http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/RoyalMail_OurPrices_April2013b.pdf

    Small parcels are 8cm wide x 46cm x 35cm or you can have a cube shape up to 16cm. Weight up to 2kgs - 1st & 2nd Class
    Medium parcels 46cm x 46cm x 61cm. Weight up to 20kgs - 1st & 2nd Class
    First price bracket is 0-1000gs
Unsigned is Small £2.60 (was £2.20) Medium £5.20
    HTH
    :)

That's the reason we love it so much. It's like that every week day, not a soul about. It's busy at weekends though, so unless we're going there with friends from the island for a day out we avoid it.

If you sit it on a tissue it will draw all of the ink out of the cartridge:eek: Might be worth doing if you want to quickly draw out the excess but don't leave it too long and make sure that it is contained in an area that is easily cleaned or you'll have ink all over the place.. Never used the carts you have but some HP carts I've had just won't retain a refill. Something to do with a bag inside the cart that can become punctured and there is no resistance to flow. Sorry if this just confuses the issue...maybe someone with more experience might comment?
