the slippers are still available to buy. I bought 2 pairs using points. They are lush and feet are so cosy. I have been trying to economise on heating and there is nothing worse than cold feet.

  • People don't really see Mrs Brown as a man - the character is so convincing. And the thing about her character is there is a little bit of her in all of us:D

I went and got my biopsy results yesterday,

I am glad to report that they were all clear :j:j
No sign of cancer just normal breast tissue:j:j:j
Can't tell you how relieved I am.

Last night we celebrated by having Dominoes pizza delivered. Not very MSE i know but we did order before 6pm so got them for half price.

I also had a large Malibu and coke!

Thanks everyone for all your best wishes
    Great news

has anyone been to the Isle of Man at this time of year?

we have found a trip there, but seems a hell of a long way to travel on a coach :( and especially if the weather is gonna be pants.

can anyone suggest anywhere else to go, either here or abroad, been looking for 4 days in the sun but seems impossible to get a flight out of any northern/midland airport.

we have budgeted ourselves around £400

so, looking/hoping at somewhere in the UK pleaseeeee.

    any suggegstions greatly appreciated..Many Thanks

Dohhhhhhhh, its the isle of white we have seen a trip to, not the isle of man.

The Isle of Wight is beautiful and if you are looking there try to get Ventnor or Shanklin. It has its own micro climate (or something like that ) an its usually the warmest place. Been several times and weather always been good.

We are going to Malta in three weeks time and its only just starting to warm up there. Summer is very late this year on the continent :(

Grr, lost my reply, will try again..... :D

    Morning all

    It's snowing here

Had a nice lie in until half 7 :D Mouth seems a bit improved, definately heading in the right direction :)

Off to [STRIKE]germ breeding ground[/STRIKE] soft play centre this morning. Hopefully DS1 will get worn out whilst DH and I drink hot chocolate. Am well wrapped up though as I always freeze in those places.

izzy65, fingers crossed for your results. Will be thinking of you x
